Update

I've decided that it was time to post again with an update. Dan's dad came home from the hospital this week and he seems to be fairing much better than the last time. He is getting a handle on his conditions and seems to be moving around some. I am sure he will be back to his teasing self in no time. Dan and I have both been overcome by a sinus infection and I spent most of today lounging in the lazy boy chair as well as in the bed. Dan felt so bad last week that he actually went to the doctor, without me even saying anything. Wow! The second trip since I have known him. I have had the mind numbing headaches as I have tried to teach, making it impossible to think straight. Hopefully, tomorrow will be less painful and I can grade my papers with joy. :)

We have been enjoying the warmer weather that Kansas had to offer this week. Monday-Thursday was very warm, definitely short sleeve weather. However, Friday AM was 17 degrees when I left for school. BRR. The wind is definitely colder and I would like some snow, say Monday morning.... :) Seriously, if it is cold, it should snow.

We are enjoying our foster care classes and as of Thursday, we are half way done. We are exciting about the possibilites being foster parents has to offer. Yesterday, we bought a stroller and a baby car seat off of craigslist. We have picked up free baby clothes from freecycle as well. I am determined to get most of our stuff second hand, this of course not counting the adorable brown bear jacket I bought on sale the other day. :) It is hard to know what to buy when we don't know how old the child will be.

Spring break will be here in 2 weeks for me and I am looking forward to a trip to PA to visit my parents. Dan will be bach'ing it here at home.
